Epitact Penso is a medical device designed to improve the appearance of hypertrophic and keloid scars, whether recent or old. It is especially useful in preventing the formation of these scars after surgical interventions or plastic surgery.

This self-adhesive dressing is composed of a silicone gel (81%) combined with polyamide/elastane fabric (19%). Its formula has been clinically tested, demonstrating a significant reduction in redness, roughness and scar size after a period of 4 months of continuous use. In addition to improving the aesthetics of existing scars, it also acts to prevent new formations, providing an effective solution for post-operative care.

Preparation: Remove the dressing from its packaging and, if necessary, cut it to be slightly larger than the scar (it is recommended to add about 2 cm on each side). Application: Remove the protective film and apply the adhesive side directly to the scar. Usage time: Start with periods of 4 hours daily for the first two days, gradually increasing as follows: Days 1 and 2: 4 hours of daily use. Days 3 and 4: 8 hours of daily use. Day 5: 10 hours of daily use. Day 6: 12 hours of daily use. epitact.fr Day 7 onwards: 14 hours of daily use. Maintenance: After each use, wash the dressing with water and mild soap, leaving it to air dry in the protective case provided. Avoid using an iron or other artificial drying methods.

Do not use the patch on damaged or irritated skin. If discomfort or adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
